Excellent place to eat. We went during the week and got there right when they opened. We had no problem getting a table but the place filled up quickly. Service was excellent. Food was great. My husband is celiac and was excited to try the GF waffles. He loved them. I had the breakfast burrito. It was so good! Will definitely be back if we are in the area.
Yummy surprise. We needed to find someplace nearby with vegan food. We scored. Also, one of the best bathrooms around! (See photo.)
There's always money in the banana stand! I had this Baileys infused iced coffee and it was delicious! And if it didn't make everything OK, the bathroom with the videos playing and pez dispenser collector wall sure did! Oh, the food was cool too. I had a nice blueberry and banana compote French toast and the special hash (hash brown with sausage and peppers) and eggs dish. It all tasted good and was a huge portion that got me stuffed quickly. I also appreciated the wide array of music they played. If you stay long enough you will eventually here a music genre of your liking. This was a nice laid back place worth many repeat visits.
Great brunch spot! Definitely worth the long wait time. Portions are huge and food comes out surprisingly quick for how busy they usually are. The servers are great and super fun and friendly. All the staff is wonderful. I love how retro the place such a cool vibe inside. Def check out !
Consistently awesome! Never had a bad meal--honestly one of the best brunch places in New England! So we've been here a hundred times and, for whatever reason, I never finish my review for Julian's. Maybe I take it for granted? Not sure but here it is... Food is awesome--to be fair, we've only been for their brunch but it is spectacular. Wide arrange of options from their rotating Bennie's and unique hash options plus your typical waffle and pancake offerings. Great breakfast bevvies--a wide assortment of mimosa flavors (get a carafe!), coffee drinks and their famous Bloody Mary (it's a bit spicey--you've been warned! ) Super eclectic and fun atmosphere. Great art murals which change frequently keep things fun and interesting! Staff is always top notch--very attentive and knowledgeable. A must stop if you're driving through the Providence vicinity!
Great outdoor place to hang out. Great service with a smile. Great food and the drink are awesome. Food came out hot n fast. Prices are average. Bartender was awesome! Heidi!
Soooo much yes for brunch at Julian's! Cool neighborhood and even cooler restaurant. We sat outside but loved the inside vibe for a cooler weather day. The menu was so overwhelming in the best way but I went with the mushroom and boursin hash (delicious!) and my partner with the chicken and waffles (even more insane!). We also shared a banana pancake. Portions were hugeee. The chicken and waffles especially was really unique and every bite had a new flavor sensation. The hash was a slice of heaven. I dream of coming back and trying more of the menu at Julian's!
Stop #4 on RI Food Fights 11th Annual Big Burger Blowout! Everything here is fresh and prepared to order right down to the battered onion rings, cut in house...I opted for the Candyland Car Crash Burger...DELICIOUS!!! Server Vivian was spectacular!
Honestly gotta be one of my favorite places for vegan breakfast and brunch in RI. They're high up there! Haven't tried the vegan burger or other lunch/dinner options because I'm truly obsessed with their breakfast items. Service is always friendly, well worth any wait that could come up. Beverages are my favorite, and a go-to. I also really enjoy "There's always money in my banana stand" or whatever it's called hilarious I always get the same thing (Vegan St. Jamez, their take on a Benedict) but their French toast, hash, fruit salads, homefries, & vegan scramble are BOMB too! Keep up the great work friends
